So the news of the day is that McCain is on a tear because Obama called dressing up Bush-like policies as something new is like putting lipstick on a pig. And obviously that is a horrible, sexist attack on Sarah Palin!
Well, it might seem that way. If you’re a moron.
Oh, and McCain said exactly the same thing about Hillary Clinton’s health care proposal, which of course was not a horrible sexist attack!
I’ve thought all along was that the GOP strategy would be to make the election about stupid triva and character assassination, and I was right. In this regard, John McCain has established himself as the perfect successor to the current president. It’s so… mavericky!
We’re fortunate to have the man who stood by silently while someone referred to Clinton as “the bitch” at one of his campaign events here to lecture us about sexism in politics, aren’t we?
