VW Hybrid

It doesn’t have the Prius “nanny nanny boo boo, I have a hybrid cause I’m special” aura about it… but that’s a good thing.

Now if VW would just sell the damn Polo TDI here, I’d buy one tomorrow. VW USA must think little of its customer base because the current range of cars and available engines is about 1/8 what they sell in Europe and elsewhere, e.g. instead of bringing over the Sharan minivan they got Chrysler to make one for them and glue a big VW logo on its snout. That’s like buying a Chevy Equinox from a Saab dealer as the 9-7 for a $10,000 markup.
